Bio

Joh, our lyrically driven vocal chameleon, was born and raised in Standish Maine and currently resides in Los Angeles, bringing her small town vibes and hometown heart to the big city.  After studying musical arts and songwriting at California Institute of the Arts, this brilliant singer/songwriter co-founded her and her brother’s band, Lexington Kills, a folk/experimental/indie fusion based heavily in moody percussion and poetic lyricism.  This  incredible creative duo went on to create Joh’s first EP in 2019, (untitled), single “And Maybe Fondly," and their collaborative EP “Sam & Joh Come Out To Play.”  From humble beginnings, Joh has expanded her repioutour, working with Billboard charting artist, Taylor XO, and landing a feature on Rhea Litre's Quarentine Queen Podcast theme song and Gigi Gorgeous' Queerified Podcast intro.

Joh has been featured in GroundSounds, KIMU, Sinusoidal Music, RGM Press, The Wild Is Calling and has played at world renowned venues including The Mint, Viper Room, Boarders, El Cid and just about every venue up and down Sunset Blvd.

Her album, Hiatus, is a series of journal entries and poems, sensationally based and universally relatable, turned music.
